    for introducing your children to yoga and
    mindfulness
  • To ease your children into being more mindful,
    start at the beginningtheir mornings. This means
    scheduling enough time to not be hurried out the
    door, the have a mindful breakfast, to leave the
    home in a mindful manner. This sets the precedent
    for the rest of their day.

  • Enroll your child in a mindfulness program. A
    mindfulness program will have all the tools and
    knowledge available for nurturing mindfulness in
    your children. If done correctly, a mindfulness
    program can serve as a refuge from the hurry and
    bustle of the day.
  • Ask your child to practice mindfulness throughout
    the day. You can practice this on the weekends
    when you can help facilitate the practice. Every
    time one practices mindfulness, they become
    better at it. Encourage your child with positive
    reinforcement.
