Dr. Paul Zarda is a well-qualified professional
who has served many prestigious positions in his
career. Currently, he is serving as a
Distinguished Member, Technical Staff, and
Manager of the Engineering Methods Group at
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.

His work has led to the development of many
advanced tools that help increase the
productivity of an engineer. He is responsible
for the development of FEM/SINDA, an industry
standard thermal analysis code which has changed
the way thermal analysis is performed. This
development has provided significant productivity
gains to the engineering community.

Paul Zarda is also an Adjunct Professor, Research
Professor of Mechanical Engineering in Department
of Mechanical, Materials Aerospace Engineering
at the University of Central Florida.

Dr. Paul Zarda has received many awards/
recognitions in his career. Some of his
accomplishments include Graduate Citation for
Outstanding Achievement, Columbia University
(1971), Bronze Key Award for overall excellence
at Columbia University (1970), UCFs MMAE Pi-Tau
Sigma 2011 Teacher-of-the-Year award, and many
more.

He was the Recipient, in 1988 and 1989, of cash
awards by Martin Marietta for the publication of
technical papers. In the year 1998, he was the
Invited Speaker at the D. H. Brown Associates
meeting on "Knowledge Based Engineering Roadmap
for the Future".
