Learn the History The Great Wall of China is not
built in a single dynasty but in many different
dynasties running in ancient China. Thus, you can
take a sneak peak to its history. It is said that
when the first emperor of China became the sole
ruler of the entire country, he ordered the
people to build Great Wall so as to prevent the
invaders from North to approach it. Whereas, it
was completed during the Ming Dynasty when the
soldiers from China and Northern countries tried
to invade during battles.

Test your Endurance To some extent, climbing the
wall is quite similar to climbing the mountain
and help to test your endurance. The only
difference to climbing the mountain is that you
need not reach the top of the mountain, you will
be walking onto it at Great Wall. The most
prominent parts of the Great Wall in Beijing
include Badaling, Mutianyu, Simatai and
Juyongguan Jiankou.
