• Canadian government has introduced several
  changes in the federal express entry system in
  last few months to make immigration to Canada
  hassle free and smooth. The government has
  implemented some more changes in the Express
  Entry system w.e.f. June 6, 2017. Lets take a
  look at the new EE System changes.

• With effect from June 6, 2017, 15 additional
  CRS points will be allocated, if either primary
  applicant or his/her spouse or common law partner
  has a sibling in Canada.

• 15 additional CRS (Comprehensive Ranking
  System) points will be allocated if an applicant
  has proficiency in French language, i.e. CLB 7 or
  above English CLB 4 or below (or no proven
  English ability).

• 30 additional CRS (Comprehensive Ranking
  System) points will be allocated if an applicant
  has proficiency in French language, i.e. CLB 7 or
  above English CLB 5 or above.

• With effect from June 6, 2017 Job bank
  registration will be voluntary for the candidates
  (with or without job offer) creating their
  profile in express entry system. Earlier Job bank
  registration was mandatory for the candidates
  without job offer.

Who Will be Impacted from the New Changes?

• The new changes in the express entry system will
  not affect anyone negatively in terms of reduced
  CRS points. In fact candidates with sibling and
  French proficiency will get more points. However,
  the candidates who wont get extra points may
  experience some changes in their Express entry
  ranking.
