  • There are two different types of changes that
occur in the skin. Changes in the skin resulting
from the passage of time alone are called
chronological ageing. The term photoaging refers
to the changes resulting from chronic sun
    exposure. Chronologically aged skin includes
wrinkles, slackness, and fine lines. There is a
decrease in the number of fibroblasts, reduced
levels of collagen and elastin. Substantial
evidence exists to support that ageing is
associated with, though more likely, the
consequence of free radical damage. Ageing is
accelerated in areas exposed to sunlight
(ultraviolet radiation), a process known as
photoageing. Photoageing includes dryness of the
    skin, irregular pigmentation-freckles,
    hyperpigmentation, wrinkling, and inelasticity.
  • Cacay oil is derived from the nut of the
Caryondendro Orinocense tree which is also known
as a Taccy Nuttree. When Cacay Oil is applied to
the skin it provides a barrier from harsh UV rays
which can help protect your skin from sun damage
(photoaging) which may lead to premature aging.
It also has very high content of Linoleic acid
(higher than hemp seed oil, argan oil, grape seed
    oil) which helps retain moisture.

  • Compared to all other oils, Cacay Oil has the
highest amount of natural Retinol a component
that reduces wrinkles, helps boost collagen
production and even regenerates the skin. In
fact, it has three times more natural Retinol
than Rosehip Oil in India a more stable and
non-irritating molecule. Vitamin A (retinol) is
an anti-oxidant that helps to activate the skins
natural renewal process, to rebuild and replenish
skin tissue. It helps to visibly smooth the skin
and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. However
Synthetic or chemical Retinols lead to skin
irritation, and flaky dry skin. Since Cacay has
natural retinol, it is non-irritating and gentle
whilst providing deep hydration. In addition, the
anti-oxidant vitamin E helps to naturally
protect, repair and replenish moisture levels in
the skin. Cacay Oil contains a 50 higher vitamin
E content than Argan Oil. Its high content of
linoleic acid (omega-6), helps to soothe
inflammation and restore the skins barrier
function to protect the skin from external
stressors. It helps repair the hydrolipidic layer
(acid mantle), protecting the skin against
irritation and dehydration. It Improves texture,
firmness and elasticity of skin. This oil is
super silky and when applied onto the skin, you
will notice an instant smoothness, thatll make
you want to keep touching your skin.
