Rublev Colours Artist Oils are unlike any other
brand of oil paints today. Why are Rublev Colours
different from other manufactured oil paints? One
reason is that we use genuine natural and
historical pigments like those used by the old
masters. Most of these pigments are not found in
other brands. Another reason is that we make
Rublev Colours Artist Oils as they did before
modern tube colorswithout additives. Rublev
Colours Artist Oils contain only pigment and oil.
They are formulated to maintain the unique
characteristics of each pigment in oil. The
character found in each tube of our oil colors is
unique due to the pigment inside, giving the
artist new choices of texture, opacity,
consistency, tone and hue. With Rublev Colours
you experience the transparency of yellow ocher,
the pale coolness of green earths, and the
crystalline glitter of blue lazurite.

New Zorn Palette
The Zorn palette refers to a palette of colors
attributed to the Swedish artist, Anders Zorn (18
February 186022 August 1920). It consists of
four colors yellow ocher, ivory black, vermilion
and lead white. In this set, we have substituted
cadmium red light for vermilion to make this
palette more affordable for artists.

Lazurite 50ml
Rublev Colours Lazurite is an intense deep blue
color from precious lapis lazuli stones used in
historical painting. It is a transparent, medium
grained color with good tinting strength.

Ultramarine Blue (Green Shade) 150ml
Utrlamrine Blue (Green Shade) is an intense deep
blue color with the least reddish shade (hence
green shade) of ultramarine blue from inorganic
pigment of sodium aluminum silicate composition.
It is a transparent, fine-grained color with high
tinting strength.

Nicosia Green Earth 50ml
Rublev Colours Nicosia Green Earth is a
transparent deep green with blue undertones,
medium grained and low tinting strength. Our
Nicosia green earth is from glauconite deposits
in Cyprus. 50 ml (1.69 fl oz) tube

Antica Green Earth 50ml
Rublev Colours Antica Green Earth is a
transparent olive green with warm undertones,
smooth grained and low tinting strength. Our
Antica green earth is from deposits in Prun in
Verona region of Italy. 50 ml (1.69 fl oz) tube

Transparent Tavush Green 150ml
Transparent Tavush Green is a low tinting
strength and very transparent warm green earth
from natural glauconite deposits in the Tavush
province of Armenia. This green earth is ground
in alkali-refined linseed oil without additives
to change the effect of the pigment and oil
mixture. As a result, the paint is short and fine
grained due to the nature of the pigment.
