A Love of Music
  • He was 12 years old. Paak learned how to play the
drums in a church band. In high school, he
started rapping. During this time, Paaks mother
made a lot of money selling strawberries, which
is a big business in Oxnard. She was able to buy
musical instruments for her son with the money
she made Paak put out a demo tape that got some
producers interested. But he didnt sign any

Where did Anderson Paak start out?
  • When the girlfriend of Paak told him to get back
into music, he moved to Los Angeles at age 21 and
took drum lessons at the Musicians Institute in
Hollywood. He married his girlfriend for a short
time, but the marriage was later thrown out. Paak
used the name Breezy Lovejoy as his stage name.
He said later, I thought it made it a little
more star-studded. When one of his new

Ventura and got a job on a pot farm, where he
