What is an IPO? Initial public offerings, or
IPOs, are a way for businesses to attract
capital from investors for their next projects
and list them on the stock market. Selling assets
to the general public on the main stock market
is known as an initial public offering (IPO). A
firm "coming public" refers to one that raises
capital via an IPO.

app. The amount applied to the IPO will be

classified into two types book- building IPOs
and fixed-price IPOs.
