The second part of the magnum opus Ponniyin
Selvan is one of the most highly anticipated
movies of South India. It is directed by Mani
Ratnam, a six-time national film award winner,
and boasts of an ensemble cast including Vikram,
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Prakash Raj,
Trisha, Karthi, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Aishwarya
Lekshmi. The movie is being made on a budget of
Rs 500 crore, which is one of the highest for an
Indian movie. The first part of the movie was
released in all five Indian languages on
September 30, 2022, and received critical acclaim
from audiences and critics alike. The second part
of the movie is set to release on April 28, 2023,
and fans are eagerly waiting for it.
