Toxic Waste-Eating Bacteria! Observation using
time-lapse photography

• Time-lapse photography of bacteria eating toxic
  waste should show us both the growth and
  development of the bacteria cultures (with
  microscopic images) and the decomposition of the
  buildup of toxic waste in a given area with
  introduced bacteria.
• The process is far too slow for the human eye
  to notice, but time-lapsed, at perhaps 12 frames
  per day over a period of a month, the process
  will can be observed vibrantly animated!

• I think bacteria that eats toxic waste is an
  amazing idea, but what if that bacteria evolves
  to eat more than toxic waste and becomes harmful
  to humans, resistant to every anti-biotic, and
  world dominant?
• If we have bacteria cultures that almost
  magically devour toxic waste, industries and
  people may be less likely to worry about reducing
  toxic waste production.
• I wouldn't want my children playing over a toxic
  waste dump full of some strange bacteria...
• I am worried there may be other harmful effects
  of introducing this bacteria. Even though it may
  be a solution to the toxic waste, over time it
  may become an insatiable eating machine an
  invasive species.
