DRR Project Objectives

• 1 - Identify and develop the country-specific
  information needed to establish the potential for
  demand response.
• Status Initial market overview surveys have been
  completed by most countries and results are being
  compiled and analyzed.
• 2 - Perform the market and institutional
  assessment needed to set realistic goals for the
  contribution of DRR to sector objectives.
• Status Many of the participating countries are
  working on the resource inventory matrix
  supporting initial assessment of potential. The
  Economic Working Group is creating an assessment
  framework to aid in identifying DR potential in
  each market.
• 3 - Mobilize technical and analytic resources
  needed to support the implementation of DRR
  programs and track their performance.
• Status Task XIII is creating an actionable
  guidebook to be used by each country to develop
  its own business case for introducing DR into
  their own electricity markets.

  behind planned work constrained by pace of
  funding. This trend cannot continue if we are to
  successfully complete the objectives of the
  project.

• Request input from ExCo on additional
  international venues for presentation of project
  work and results
• Some countries are behind schedule and need to
  recover the operating agent can possibly
  provide in-country workshops (out of project
  scope) to enable catch up
