52
Part 91 Subpart K effective February 17, 2005
  • New Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) governing
    fractional aircraft operations which increases
the FAA oversight of fractional programs while
    also allowing operational flexibility.
  • Owners must choose to fly under either Part 91,
    Subpart K or Part 135
  • Part 91, Subpart K addresses the issues of
  • safety of flight and regulatory compliance
  • pilot qualifications
  • aircraft maintenance and technician training
    requirements
  • installation of advanced safety equipment on
    aircraft
  • With Subpart K, Owners have operational
control, but will see virtually no change in
    day-to-day aircraft operations. NetJets
insurance programs are not affected. (With Part
135, Owners fly under commercial regulations, and
NetJets is in operational control of the flight.)
  • NetJets will continue to follow our stringent
operations and maintenance practices that exceed
    requirements of the FARs.

53
Mayo Clinic Executive Travel Response
Ask Mayo Clinic - Dedicated Mayo Clinic
telephone number provides Owners access to free
consultations with Mayo Clinic professionals, 24
hours a day to determine when and where to seek
medical attention worldwide. Mayo Clinic
doctors and nurses provide self care
recommendations, help arrange emergency medical
transport, and coordinate medical care
appointments 24 hours a day, 365 days a
year. In-Flight Services - Dedicated Mayo
Clinic telephone number provides NetJets crew
members direct access to critical care nurses
and doctors who can provide a medical
consultation and make a diversion recommendation
if necessary.
54
Slots Program
  • A Slot is a reservation to arrive/depart a
specific airport controlled by the FAA working
    in conjunction with participating airports.
  • Slots are first offered to the commercial
airlines. Remaining slots are then made
available to general aviation. The number of
slot requests from NetJets Owners frequently
exceeds the number of available slots for general
    aviation.
  • NetJets suggests booking flights to airports
requiring slots at least 4 days in advance.
  • NetJets has a Slots Team, dedicated to obtaining
slots for our Owners, using an on-line
computerized system 72 hours in advance. The
FAA, however, may not determine if slots will be
required at specific airports until the night
    prior.
  • NetJets may only obtain ONE slot per aircraft no
    slides.

55
Ground
  • NetJets is pleased to handle your ground
    arrangements, and recommends direct billing.
