• Isaiah 611-3. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord
  is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to
  preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to
  bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom
  for the captives and release from darkness for
  the prisoners

• To proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and
  the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all
  who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in
  Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead
  of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of
  mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a
  spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of
  righteous-ness, a planting of the Lord for the
  display of his splendor. Isaiah 611-3

• James 41-10 What causes fights and quarrels
  among you? Don't they come from your desires that
  battle within you? You want something but don't
  get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have
  what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not
  have, because you do not ask God. When you ask,
  you do not receive, because you ask with wrong
  motives, that you may spend what you get on your
  pleasures

• You adulterous people, don't you know that
  friendship with the world is hatred toward God?
  Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world
  becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think
  Scripture says without reason that the spirit he
  caused to live in us envies intensely? But he
  gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says
     "God opposes the proud       but gives grace
  to the humble."

• Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the
  devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to
  God and he will come near to you. Wash your
  hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you
  double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change
  your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.
  Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will
  lift you up. James 41-10

  all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness
  come before him with joyful songs

  us, and we are his we are his people, the sheep
  of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving
  and his courts with praise give thanks to him
  and praise his name

• God is good and the life He gives us is good.
  There is beauty to celebrate. There is love to
  celebrate. There is answer to prayer to
  celebrate. There are victories to celebrate.
  There are changed lives to celebrate. There is a
  wonderful future to celebrate!
