Johnson County Course Sharing
  • Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year, the
    nine school districts in Johnson County began to
    share available seats for high school core and
    elective credit classes.
  • Districts that did not have the facilities or
    instructors required to offer a class could send
    their students to another district to earn credit
    for a class.
  • The Home district pays the Providing district
    according to the current weighted funding formula
    multiplied by the adjusted based allotment.
