Narrative Text is
  • told by the narrator or speaker the one who
    tells the story or says the poem.
  • The Speakers voice shares their insights and
    opinions this is their point of View.

Point of View
  • 1st Person - The narrator is involved with the
    story they are identified and use the pronouns
    I, Me, We, Us . Can reveal only what he
    or she is thinking.
  • 3rd Person - a narrator is not involved in the
    story. Story is related in terms of He, She,
    It, and They. Does NOT show what the
    characters are thinking.
  • Omniscient - the 3rd person narrator is
    all-knowing. It shares the characters thoughts
    and actions with the audience.
