This booklet was developed from a teaching to a
live audience and has been kept in a
conversational format. It is designed to reach
a personal level with the reader rather than
present a structured, theological presentation.
Many times the reader will feel that Pastor
Henry is talking directly to him/her. The
frequent use of the pronoun you is meant to
penetrate the human heart for conviction, not
for accusation.
wherein he hath made us accepted in the
beloved. Ephesians 16
3
  • Envy and Jealousy Involves several spiritual
    dynamics.
  • These include
  • an ungrateful heart
  • a lack of contentment
  • Accusation
  • Envy and Jealousy says... "I like what you have,
but because I don't have it... I don't like you."

4
ENVY AND JEALOUSY
  • A sound heart
  • is the life of the flesh
  • but envy the rottenness of the
  • bones. Proverbs 14 30

5
Defintion Jealous (UnGodly vs. Godly)
  • Fearful or wary of being supplanted apprehensive
    of losing affection or position.
  • Resentful or bitter in rivalry envious jealous
    of the success of others.
  • Inclined to suspect rivalry.
  • Vigilant in guarding something We are jealous of
    our good name.
  • Intolerant of disloyalty or infidelity
    autocratic a jealous God.

6
  • Exodus 20
  • 1  And God spake all these words, saying, 2
I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee
out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of
bondage. 3   Thou shalt have no other gods
before me. 4   Thou shalt not make unto thee
any graven image, or any likeness of any thing
that is in heaven above, or that is in the
earth beneath, or that is in the water under
    the earth

7
  • Exodus 20
  • 5   Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor
serve them for I the LORD thy God am a jealous
God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon
the children unto the third and fourth
generation of them that hate me 6   And
shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love
me, and keep my commandments. 7   Thou shalt
not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain
for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that
    taketh his name in vain.

8
What is Godly Jealousy?
  • Deuteronomy 424   For the LORD thy God is a
consuming fire, even a jealous God.
  • Deuteronomy 3216   They provoked him to jealousy
with strange gods, with abominations provoked
    they him to anger.

9
  • Gods jealousy is like the woman who came to
    Solomon in 1 Kings
  • 316   Then came there two women, that were
harlots, unto the king, and stood before him.
317   And the one woman said, O my lord, I and
this woman dwell in one house and I was
delivered of a child with her in the house.
318   And it came to pass the third day after
that I was delivered, that this woman was
delivered also and we were together there
was no stranger with us in the house, save we
two in the house. 319   And this woman's child
died in the night because she overlaid it.
320   And she arose at midnight, and took my
son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept,
and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child
in my bosom. 321   And when I rose in the
morning to give my child suck, behold, it was
dead but when I had considered it in the
morning, behold, it was not my son, which I did
bear. 322   And the other woman said, Nay but
the living is my son, and the dead is thy
son. And this said, No but the dead is thy
son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake
    before the king.

10
  • 1 Kings323   Then said the king, The one saith,
This is my son that liveth, and thy son is
the dead and the other saith, Nay but thy son
is the dead, and my son is the living. 324
And the king said, Bring me a sword. And they
brought a sword before the king. 325   And the
king said, Divide the living child in two, and
give half to the one, and half to the other.
326   Then spake the woman whose the living
child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned
upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her
the living child, and in no wise slay it. 327
Then the king answered and said, Give her the
living child, and in no wise slay it she is
the mother thereof. 328   And all Israel heard
of the judgment which the king had judged and
they feared the king for they saw that the
wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.

11
  • Exodus 20
  • 12   Honour thy father and thy mother that thy
days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy
God giveth thee. 13   Thou shalt not kill. 14
Thou shalt not commit adultery. 15   Thou
shalt not steal. 16   Thou shalt not bear false
witness against thy neighbour. 17   Thou shalt
not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant,
nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor
any thing that is thy neighbour's.

12
ROOT OF COVETOUSNESS
  • The root for Covetousness which leads to Envy
and Jealousy is not trusting God to take care of
    you.
  • Mt 626 Behold the fowls of the air for they sow
not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns
yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not
    much better than they?
  • It is a form of Unbelief and Doubt and
faithlessness. You are not content with what you
    have.

11
13
  • With covetousness and Envy and Jealousy, you
are looking at someone else and not wanting him
to have Gods blessing. The ultimate action of
Envy and Jealousy is murder because it wants to
    eliminate the person.
  • 1 Kings 326(b) But the other said, Let it be
neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
  • Cain and Able Jude 111 Woe unto them! for they
have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily
after the error of Balaam for reward, and
perished in the gainsaying of Core.
  • Jesus Mark 151 For he knew that the chief
priests had delivered him for envy.

6
14
  • Joseph
  • Acts 7 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold
Joseph into Egypt but God was with him,
  • Paul
  • Acts 134 But when the Jews saw the multitudes,
they were filled with envy, and spake against
those things which were spoken by Paul,
    contradicting and blaspheming.

15
  • People who have Envy and Jealousy, and are
scorners, are not content just to destroy only
    you.
  • They will gather to themselves every person who
will listen to them, and in a convincing manner
they will bring you onto their team.
  • If you have Covetousness, Envy and Jealousy and
Bitterness, the spirits in them will find you
every time. Birds of a feather flock together.
  • Pr 2621 As coals are to burning coals, and wood
to fire so is a contentious man to kindle
    strife.

Definition Envy
  • 1. a feeling of grudging, or somewhat admiring,
    discontent aroused by the possessions,
    achievements, or qualities of another
  • 2. the desire to have for oneself something
    possessed by another covetousness
  • I dont want to be me
  • I want to be YOU.

17
  • Hebrews 135,6 says,
  • Let your conversation be without covetousness
and be content with such things as ye have for
he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor
    forsake thee.
  • So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper,
and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

11
18
  • Hebrews 13 gives us the keys to understanding
    Envy and Jealousy
  • Not trusting God
  • Not believing that He will take care of you
  • Not accepting yourself as He has accepted you

11
19
  • Hebrews 135 is quoted from Joshua 15. The Lord
hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake
    thee.
  • Joshua 15There shall not any man be able to
stand before thee all the days of thy life as I
was with Moses, so I will be with thee I will
not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6Be strong and
of a good courage for unto this people shalt
thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I
sware unto their fathers to give them.

20
  • 7Only be thou strong and very courageous, that
thou mayest observe to do according to all the
law, which Moses my servant commanded thee turn
not from it to the right hand or to the left,
that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou
    goest.
  • 8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy
mouth but thou shalt meditate therein day and
night, that thou mayest observe to do according
to all that is written therein for then thou
shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou
    shalt have good success.

21
  • Joshua 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong
and of a good courage be not afraid, neither be
thou dismayed for the LORD thy God is with thee
    whithersoever thou goest.

22

  • Envy and Jealousy says God is not able to provide
    for you.
  • Let your conversation be without covetousness
  • Hebrews 135   covetousness, for the entire
New Testament covetousness is 4124 except for
this one scripture which is 866.

2
23
  • Strongs Concordance says 866 is the Greek word
translated as without covetousness, not greedy
of filthy lucre. So in this particular case it
means without gain. Let your conversation be
    without regard to gain.
  • Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and
destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is
godliness from such withdraw thyself. But
godliness with contentment is great gain. 1
    Timothy 65-6

24
Deception is always rooted in covetousness.
  • Covetousness is greater than Envy and Jealousy
because Envy and Jealousy is supported by
covetousness. In fact, we could talk about lust,
not the sexual lust, but into pride of life,
desire, keeping up with the Joneses, comparing
    yourself with another.
  • It can be Covetousness and Envy and Jealousy over
clothing you can lust after someone elses
dress. You can covet their good looks.

5
25
Looking at other people
  • We have found that Envy and Jealousy is rooted in
not trusting God, not believing God loves you and
will take care of you, not believing that you are
the apple of His eye, that you are special to Him
and that He is able to sustain you in all things
    of life.
  • Envy and Jealousy is rooted in you looking at
other people, and them becoming your point of
reference as to who you should be.

32
26
Envy and Jealousy will take your eyes off God and
put your eyes on others.
  • Rejection will feed off others, but Envy and
Jealousy will make others your source of value
and fulfillment when that source should be God.
  • The problem with Envy and Jealousy is that no
matter how much you do have, you are never
    satisfied.
  • Envy and Jealousy will never leave you alone and
will never leave you at peace because you are
always comparing yourself with someone else.

1
27
  • 1 Corinthians 33 For ye are yet carnal for
whereas there is among you envying, and strife,
and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as
    men?

28
  • Envy and Jealousy accuses you to yourself as an
unclean spirit every single day because it will
not allow you to be at peace with yourself and
    accept yourself.
  • It is always getting you to compare yourself with
others or to compare your success or lack of
success with others, to compare your dress,
    your looks.
  • You know the list goes on and covers every aspect
    of your existence.

14
29
NO CONTENTMENT
  • Envy and Jealousy will prevent you from
godliness, and without godliness you are not
going to have any peace whatsoever. If you dont
have godliness as your foundation, it is like
a piece of unprotected metal, it rusts.
  • The buckets you put your money in have holes and
the money falls out the bottom on the ground,
and you dont even see it happening.

14
30
  • You may covet someone elses healing. You may
have Envy and Jealousy because you are comparing
your state of disease with someone elses state
    of health.
  • You may be into covetousness and Envy and
Jealousy, but if you are not careful, when you
look at that person with that thing brewing on
the inside of you, then comes Bitterness
    and resentment against that person.

5
31
Discontentment
  • James 31 For where envying and strife is,
there is confusion and every evil work.
  • Galatians 52 Let us not be desirous of vain
glory, provoking one another, envying one
    another.

32
  • If you are not careful you can go into Envy
and Jealousy concerning another womans husband.
You may see a family that seems to be living in
peace when you came out of a destructive family,
and if you arent careful, you will get your eyes
on that family and start to covet that and
    go into Envy and Jealousy.
  • James 45 Do ye think that the scripture saith in
vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to
    envy?

6
33
  • Bitterness, along with Envy and Jealousy,
projects to the past, binds you to the present,
and projects itself into the future so that your
future is as putrid as your past was and your
present is as putrid as your past was.
  • So past, present and future, you are locked in
the desolation, which is devastating to you.
  • It is devastating to your future, and it is
    devastating to everyone around you.

47
34
  • Envy and Jealousy and Bitterness are no respecter
    of persons.
  • They will attack those closest to you, take
those whom you seemingly think you love and make
    you hate them instantly.
  • But he that hateth his brother is in darkness,
and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither
he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his
    eyes. 1Jo 211

47
35
Spirit World Realities
  • Ephesians 612 says that our battle is not with
flesh and blood, but with principalities, powers,
spiritual wickedness in high places, the rulers
of the darkness of this world. There is a
four-tiered bureaucracy that is working. It is a
structured system that is designed to control you
and make you a medium of expression.
  •
  • For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
    against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
    spiritual wickedness in high places.

120
36
  • There are many dynamics that set the power of
Satan against peoples lives. Some of it is very
insidious. Some of it seems innocuous at times,
but the conclusion is very devastating.
  • All of our problems that open the door to
the enemy usually begin in conflict with another,
or in separation from another, or in violation of
    another.

49
37
Intertwined
  • Envy and Jealousy is rooted in one of the
greatest powers to feed and open the door for the
strong man of Bitterness to come in.
This interlocking of enemy forces comes to bring
    a type of personality aberration.
  • In fact, these things can become so intertwined
within you that you cant separate yourself
    from them.
  • It is possible for you to become so influenced by
the nature of these entities that you think its
    who you are.

32
38
  • Rejection,
  • Envy/Jealousy,
  • and Bitterness
  • bring a three-pronged assault.
  • Usually where you find one, you find the others.

Fear
Bitterness
Rejection
Envy Jealousy
1
39
  • We have learned Bitterness is a principality of
the enemy of our soul. Bitterness will destroy
our life and sets us up for serious disease.
  • An area that feeds into Bitterness is Envy and
Jealousy, and if you do not get the seed out, it
    will just grow up again.
  • Rejection is also going to feed Bitterness.

40
  • 2 Corinthians 1220 For I fear, lest, when I
come, I shall not find you such as I would, and
that I shall be found unto you such as ye would
not lest there be debates, envyings, wraths,
    strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings,
    tumults
  • Romans 1313 Let us walk honestly, as in the day
not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering
and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

41
  • Entwined within all of this are feelings of
  • retaliation, cruelty, fury, malice, rage, sadism,
    screaming, spitefulness, treachery, control,
    bossiness, dominance, impatience, agitation,
    criticism, covetousness, avarice,
  • craving, curiosity, discontent, material lust,
    stealing, bitterness, anger, antagonism,
    contempt, contention, enmity, fighting,
hatred, hatred of authority (no one is going to
tell me what to do), hostility, irritation,
    murder,
  • resentment, self-hatred, temper, unforgiveness,
    violence, wrath, strife, annoying,
    bickering, contention, discord, quarreling,
    sarcasm, and slander.
  • All of these are entwined within Envy and
Jealousy and Covetousness. All of them are moving
together like worms in a bucket, and all of them
    are feeding each other.

32
42
  • Galatians 521  Envyings, murders, drunkenness,
revellings, and such like of the which I tell
you before, as I have also told you in time
past, that they which do such things shall not
    inherit the kingdom of God.

43
  • But you cant deal with Rejection, and you cant
deal with Envy and Jealousy, unless you first
understand Bitterness, because he really is the
    stronger of the two.
  • Thats why we taught him first, because he is
the stronger of the two. He is the reinforcer.
Hes the one that brings the memories.
  • Hes the one that plays the flashbacks. Hes the
one that plays the instant replay.
  • Hes the one that comes and reminds you of that
    slimeball you dont like.

35
44
  • If you do not understand Bitterness and Envy and
Jealousy, you will not be able to deal with
Rejection because this character is banking on
the fact that the other principalities he is
working in conjunction with, will be able to set
the stage for him to come.
  • Bitterness is waiting for the occasion to come
into our life and can engineer the occasion in
other people. He maintains the record of wrongs.

1
45
  • Proverbs 331 Envy thou not the oppressor, and
    choose none of his ways.
  • 1 Timothy 64 He is proud, knowing nothing, but
doting about questions and strifes of words,
whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil
    surmisings,

46
  • Satans kingdom operates with a networking
of realities to produce a final conclusion. It is
    like building a house.
  • You have the foundation, the walls, the roof.
  • If you are not careful you might think you worked
this out yesterday and the day before
yesterday, but often Envy and Jealousy has an
opportunity and that old thing starts stirring
when you are looking at someone else.

5
47
  • It may be that you see a family and the man is a
good husband, but you are dealing with this
unresolved issue of a husband that is not quite
so renewed. What are you going to do then?

5
48
  • Have you ever watched love/hate relationships?
How can you love someone and then hate them?
  • You did not love them to begin with. It was
a perverse spirit that duplicated love.
  • It was not love. It was Envy and Jealousy. It was
idolatry. If you love someone, you cannot ever
hate them or else you did not love them to
    begin with.
  • You cannot love someone today and hate
them tomorrow. RELATIONSHIP ISSUES? MORE ON PAGE
    48 OF ENVY AND JEALOUSY

47
49
IDOLATRY
  • Mortify therefore your members which are upon the
    earth fornication, uncleanness, inordinate
    affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness,
    which is idolatry Colossians 35
  • So this verse tells us that Covetousness is
    idolatry.

18
50
  • It shouldnt make a bit of difference what
someone says about you or to you, because God us
for you. Who else is greater?
  • If you make a person greater than God, youre
into idolatry. Esteeming anything or anyone more
    than God is idolatry.
  • Psalms 371  a psalm of david. Fret not
thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou
envious against the workers of iniquity.

19
51
FEAR OF MAN
  • Fear of man drives you to Envy and Jealousy
because there is a thought that comes to tell
you, If you could be perfect then you would be
    accepted.
  • Then resentment and everything else comes and
now you have double trouble. Envy and Jealousy is
always fueling the Bitterness against others and
always fueling the Bitterness you have against
    yourself.

16
52
UNBELIEF
  • Psalms 733 For I was envious at the foolish,
when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
  • Ultimately, because Envy and Jealousy represents
distrust of God and unbelief and doubt concerning
Gods ability to keep you, they eventually lead
    to Bitterness against God.
  • You are the one that opened the door.
  • It was not God you chose to compare yourself
    with others.

16
53

envy slayeth the silly one. (foolish, silly
    decieved, gullible)
  • Proverbs 274 Wrath is cruel, and anger is
outrageous but who is able to stand before
    envy?

You are so busy wanting to be free of the fruit
of the root that you forgot to deal with the
root.
  • You cannot get good fruit and have a bad root.
You cannot be free I dont care how many prayers
    you say.
  • I dont care how many Bible verses you memorize.
I dont care what kind of hype or mantras or
meditations you are trying to use to manipulate
    God.
  • You are not going to have good fruit if you keep
    the bad root.

RESTORATION WITH GOD
  • Proverbs 241 Be not thou envious against evil
men, neither desire to be with them.
  • Romans 1313 Let us walk honestly, as in the day
not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering
and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

60
  • Psalms 7858   For they provoked him to anger
with their high places, and moved him to jealousy
    with their graven images.
  • Proverbs 2317 Let not thine heart envy sinners
but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day
    long.

CONDITIONS FOR GOD HEARING YOU
  • If youre crying out to God because youre
devastated by this stuff, and you just want to be
free because you are tired of the devastation, He
    isnt going to hear you.
  • But if you cry out unto God because you are
convicted, because you understand why you are all
goofed up with this stuff and because you have a
repentant heart, then He is going to deliver you.
  • Ezekiel 1642   So will I make my fury toward
thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from
thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more
    angry.

96
62
Cry out to God because you are convicted!
  • But He is not going to deliver you and free you
and let you continue to live your life with this
    stuff still inside your spirit.
  • Why? Because if He delivers you from the
diseases, both psychological and biological, and
if the torment that has occurred is because you
have this in your life, then guess what is still
    there?

96
63
  • The Bitterness and the Envy and the Jealousy and
the same old fruit. God is wasting His
time delivering you of a disease and an
oppression if He lets the spiritual dynamics that
are producing it stay within you.
  • James 314 But if ye have bitter envying and
strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not
    against the truth.

96
64
  • Titus 31-7
  • Put them in mind to be subject to principalities
and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to
every good work, to speak evil of no man, to be
no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness
    unto all men.
  • For we ourselves also were sometime foolish,
disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and
pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful,
    and hating one another.

65
  • Titus 31-7
  • But after that the kindness and love of God our
Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of
righteousness which we have done, but according
to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost
  • which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus
Christ our Saviour that being justified by his
grace, we should be made heirs according to the
    hope of eternal life.

66
  • I want to give you an axiom to deal with Envy and
Jealousy and Covetousness seek ye first the
kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all
things shall be added unto you.
  • But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness and all these things shall be
    added unto you.
  • Matthew 633

Peace of mind - peace in your heart
  • When you take your contentment, deal
with Covetousness and put away Envy and Jealousy,
in that day God shall start to have what He
wanted from the beginning and then He is able to
    bless you.
  • We have to be content.
  • The first blessing God wants to give you is your
peace of mind and peace in your heart.
  • Php 411 Not that I speak in respect of want for
I have learned, in whatsoever state I am,
    therewith to be content.

15
68
  • You have to have fellowship with God so you can
have fellowship with yourself (and love
    yourself).
  • Then and only then can you have fellowship with
others at the proper level. Remember Envy likes
what the other person has but because it doesnt
have it, it hates the person that has it.
  • Wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth
    the silly one. Job 52
  • Now where is wrath coming from? When you find
wrath or anger, where do you find the strong man?
    Bitterness.

21
69
If you forgive, but dont forget, you have not
forgiven.
  • Because Envy and Jealousy is no respecter of
persons, it only wants one thing destruction,
without exception. Envy and jealousy is not a
peacemaker, and it can never be satisfied.
  • There is no resolution with a person who has
Envy and Jealousy. You are wasting your
time. Retaliation is get-even time, which comes
out of resentment, which is rooted in Bitterness.
  • I am going to get even. I do not forgive, nor do
    I forget.

34
70
  • Now granted, you remember what people have done
to you. You do not lose your memory in this.
  • But when you say I forgive but I do not forget,
what you are saying is that you are keeping a
record of wrongs, and that is not a place
of fellowship. It is a place of suspicion it is
a breeding ground to create the atmosphere to
    cause it to happen again.

Just as untreated and neglected physical wounds
may fester and grow worse and create massive
problems, so do spiritual and emotional wounds.
If unattended, they will fester and grow into
spiritual gangrene. If you discern a spiritual
problem in you and you do not deal with it, it
will not just go away some day. It will fester
and spread. It is also contagious.

Blessings come when we take responsibility for
sin.
  • 1 Samuel 1522 Behold, to obey is better than
sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of
    rams.
  • Ho 66 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice
and the knowledge of God more than burnt
    offerings.
  • Mt 913 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I
will have mercy, and not sacrifice for I am not
come to call the righteous, but sinners to
    repentance.

Unless you have a perfect hatred for Envy and
Jealousy, you cannot ever be delivered from it.
  • Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
even do according to thine anger, and according
to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy
hatred against them and I will make myself known
among them, when I have judged thee. Ezekiel
    3511

74
  • What you sow, you are going to reap. If you sow
unto Envy and Jealousy, you are going to reap the
    rewards of Envy and Jealousy.
  • If you sow unto hatred, what are you going
to reap? If you sow unto Bitterness, what are you
    going to reap?
  • Ga 67 Be not deceived God is not mocked for
whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
  • Ga 68 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of
the flesh reap corruption but he that soweth to
the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life
    everlasting.

Are you blaming God for not doing something for
you?
  • God wants you free. God wants you well. God
wants you to be blessed. God wants you to be the
glory of God in the earth.
  • 2 Corinthians 112  For I am jealous over you
with godly jealousy for I have espoused you to
one husband, that I may present you as a chaste
    virgin to Christ.
  • It is the anointing of the Holy Spirit to break
    the yoke over your life.

You cannot be healed yet keep Envy and
Jealousy.
  • God will not heal you of diseases caused by Envy
and Jealousy and let you keep the Envy and
    Jealousy that is causing them.
  • It is important to recognize the problem and
repent.  If you do not apply the principles that
I am giving you here in these areas of your life,
    you will not be healed.
  • What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin,
that grace may abound? Romans 61

RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
  • Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest
prosper and be in health, even as thy soul
    prospereth. 3 John 12
  • For the LORD God is a sun and shield the Lord
will give grace and glory no good thing will he
withhold from them that walk uprightly. Psalm
    8411

REPENT AND BELIEVE
  • Its time to believe the gospel.  If you dont
believe it, you dont have to worry
about receiving, because only those who believe
    receive.
  • Joh 635 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread
of life he that cometh to me shall never hunger
and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

27
79
  • We have to get our peace before God in the area
of personal relationships, husband or wife, male
    and female.
  • 1 Corinthians 13 4-7
  • Charity agape love suffereth long, and is
    kind
  • charity envieth not
  • charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her
    own,
  • is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil
  • rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the
    truth
  • beareth all things, believeth all things,
  • hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Matthew 310 And now also the axe is laid unto
the root of the trees therefore every tree
which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn
down, and cast into the fire.

REPENTANCE
  • Ac 1118 When they heard these things, they held
their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath
God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto
    life.
  • 2Co 79 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made
sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance for ye
were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye
might receive damage by us in nothing.

82
  • We have to come and take responsibility for our
spiritual whoredom before God in the area of
occultism, false religions and error, worshipping
    gods and devils.
  • 1 Corinthians 1022   Do we provoke the Lord to
jealousy? are we stronger than he?
  • Read Ezekiel 8 and16

83
83
Envy and Jealousy has to go.
  • Are your hearts now prepared to come before the
    Lord?
  • I am going to lead you in a prayer before God.
Come, bring your hearts before the Lord.
  • Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus,
to know the truth. You said the truth will
make us free. Let the convicting power of the
Holy Spirit bring to our remembrance the things
that we have read, the concepts and the precepts
that will be a standard for our righteousness.

A Prayer of Repentance
  • Father God, I recognize and take responsibility
for myself and my ancestors for the iniquities of
    ________(Hand out Ministry Lists)_________.
  • I agree with your verdict on my rebellion.
  • I repent, I renounce and I ask forgiveness for my
participation with these sins and I ask that
their curse be broken in the name of Jesus Christ
    of Nazareth.

85
  • I repent for the sins of my ancestry
that followed this course and then brought it
    into my life.
  • I ask You to forgive them.
  • I acknowledge their transgressions, and
I acknowledge it in my own life.
  • I repent to You, Father.

86
Command of Deliverance
  • (Must be out loud with eyes open and realize you
are speaking directly to the spirit)
  • In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, by the
power of the Holy Spirit, I take authority over
    the spirit(s) of _______________
  • I break your power, I cast you out and command
    you to return no more.
  • Purge the Strongman of Envy and Jealousy

87
  • Father, this is a special time. We have
been before You searching our hearts and our
family trees and our personal lives.
  • We dont want to be a hearer of the Word only,
but we want to be a doer also.
  • Father, as we come before You, the Father of all
spirits, we want you to know that we are not
    rebels we are obedient spirits.
  • Once we were disobedient spirits now we
    are obedient spirits.
  • Father, I ask You in the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ to deliver every humble and contrite one
here from the powerful forces of Covetousness and
Envy and Jealousy along with any lingering
    spirits of Bitterness and retaliation,
resentment, unforgiveness, that may not have left
already because of Envy and Jealousy.
