parent and Teacher expectations
  • Good grades
  • Students in middle school will have approximately
7 8 classes each day. Students must work extra
hard to keep their grades up and to stay on pace
    with each class.
  • Good behavior
  • Good behavior is imperative and is required for a
student to be successful in the middle school
    setting. Students begin building their
reputation in the middle school and must make
sure they are building a good reputation with
    their friends and their teachers.
  • Good attitude
  • Students MUST be taught at an early age how to
control their behaviors and to have a good
attitude. Students will gain respect from
teachers and friends if they possess a good and
    willing attitude.

Parent and Teacher expectations (continued)
  • Good leadership skills
  • It is important to teach students to be leaders
and not followers. Students will need to possess
good leadership skills to be successful in school
and later in life. Students should become
involved in as many clubs and activities as
possible. This builds their self-esteem and
    helps them feel accepted.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Teachers begin teaching organizational skills at
the elementary school level. Students MUST be
organized in order to continue success in the
middle and high school levels. Students will
have 7 8 classes a day and must be responsible
for keeping up with his or her work at all times.
