Breaking the Cycle Evidence Mini-Presentation
  • Learning Targets I can research for a real-life
example of a person who questions authority to
break the cycle. I can verbally explain my
interpretation of a piece of evidence.
  • Directions
  • Find an example of a person (past or current) who
has questioned authority in order to break a
    specific cycle.
  • Email Mrs. Delacruz an online site (news article,
website page, etc.) where you found this
    evidence.
  • On your assigned day, be prepared to tell the
class about the person you researched. You must
    tell the class the following
  • (1) Persons name
  • (2) Persons birthdate and date of death (if
    deceased)
  • (3) Your interpretation of how he/she questioned
authority to break a specific cycle cycle of
    censorship, government control, educational
    inequality, racism, gender inequality, religious
    persecution, etc.)
  • (5) A brief explanation on the source of your
information. Is it a news source? Is it from an
online encyclopedia? How do you know this is
    reliable?
