Introduction
Class is in session, today we are traveling to
Ancient Rome. We are going to have so much fun.
Here we go! Family was the most important aspect
of Roman culture. They also had many interesting
daily life activities, the common Roman day was
very busy. Your day would be different depending
on your social class. There were also different
forms of roman entertainment, such as, chariot
racing. Rome is a very interesting place. Lets
get started!

  • Father was most important (paterfamilias)
  • Men full grown, at 14
  • Woman full grown, at 12
  • Married couple, children, and slaves.
  • Sons followed in fathers footsteps
  • Encouraged to have large family.
