Company want you to have a fun and safe fourth of
by using the following safety message.
ALWAYS read and follow directions. have an
adult present. buy from reliable sellers. only
use fireworks outdoors. have water and shovel
handy. wear eye and hand protection. light only
one firework at a time. maintain a clear radius
of 50 feet for any aerial product. maintain an
open area away from buildings, vehicles, and
shrubbery. place firework on a hard surface to
prevent it from falling over. if burned get to
the hospital. store fireworks in a cool dry
place. stay away from illegal explosives. check
the local and state laws for the types of
fireworks that are legal in your area. check
with your local Fire Department for any local
laws, bands, or fire danger restrictions that

Fourth of July Safety The best safety advice we
can give you is to encourage you to attend a
public fireworks display instead of putting on
your own. Fireworks displays are enjoyable
especially when safety is the number one
priority! Fireworks Safety NEVER
experiment or make your own fireworks. relight
dud fireworks. Wait 15 to 20 minutes, soak it
in a bucket of water, and then dispose of it.
throw or point fireworks at anyone. carry
fireworks in your pocket. shoot fireworks in
metal or glass containers. give fireworks to
children. have any part of the body over the
firework.
EMERGENCY PLAN Nobody plans to have an accident.
Be prepared when things go wrong Ensure you
have the means to control a fire until the fire
department arrives-hose, bucket water, shovels,
etc. Have first aid kit available and know how
to use it. Plan a rally point. Be prepared to
tell the fire department of any area hazards,
such as propane and fuel tanks. Know where
emergency facilities are located. Be prepared
this can be a busy day for the Fire Department.
