The very song "Comprate i miei fiori" was so popular in Italy that for many years it was considered a folk Neapolitan song. Nino Rota for the film created an instrumental melody processing. The authors of this beautiful song of the 50-60's "Comprate i miei fiori" Gastone Jacobla (text), music by Eugenio Calcia and Nadir Vietti. The song also became a favorite in Russia.
