Status of ASTRA2Connect

Service was launched in April 2007 and is so far
already contracted to five distribution partners
in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland and
Poland in addition, two new contracts for
delivery of service to consumers in France and
Italy have been signed
Several contracts for other European countries
are currently under negotiation
The total addressable market may amount to more
than 11 MM households
With its current satellite assets ASTRA is
already capable of serving 9.4 MM households or
85 of this market
The total addressable market of the five
countries with distribution agreements already in
place amounts to 3.1 MM households
The contract backlog amounts to EUR 165 million
with 200k terminals to be installed in total
The contracts are based on a 3 to 5 year
commitment
The successful chronology of most recent deals
include
March 2007 Launch of ASTRA2Connect at CEBIT
(Hannover) with Filiago as first customer
August 2007 Contract with H3 Netservice (STAR
DSL) for distribution in Germany
September 2007 Contract with National Broadband
Services in Ireland
December 2007 Contract with Yato AG for
distribution in Germany
December 2007 Contract with Euro Marketing Group
for distribution in Poland
January 2008 Contract with Auvea for
distribution in France, and Digitaria in Italy
Due to the very high resonance in the market
Astra has now secured large scale production of
end consumer terminals in cooperation with Newtec
Further ramp-up potential with satellite assets
under procurement
ASTRA 3B will provide additional capacity for
ASTRA2Connect
This will enable us to serve an additional 250k
subscribers as of 2010
