ASSESSMENT WORK?
- The IRTE team conducting the road safety audit
builds a scenario pre-empting the needs of a road
user in various kinds of situations and risks. - Based on these needs and extensive research, the
experts predict the type of support and
information the road users will require to use
the road network safely. - The pre-suppositions are based on police records
of accidents, interviews with different kind of
road users, the topography of the area.

colour code. - These ratings of the roads provide a methodology
to measure the safety performance of a road
