  • LuxWiz GENERAL INFORMATION
  • LuxWiz Advanced Energy Savers are for energy
    saving
  • for various T8, T12 and other fluorescent lamps
    operating on
  • electro-magnetic or passive electronic ballasts.
    They are designed to
  • give the best cost-performance values, ease of
    use and reliability to
  • our customers. Our high performing products
    differ from competing
  • products in quality, variety and features that
    put them ahead of their
  • class in meeting various customers needs.
  • LuxWiz Energy Saver series are certified to
    United States UL
  • and Canada CSA standards for safety. Their energy
    saving
  • performance had been verified to be able to save
    up to 33 of kWh
  • energy saving for fluorescent lamps. All models
    are constructed
  • using the highest quality and energy efficient
    components.
  • LuxWiz Energy Savers are single phase models and
    several units
  • can be used together to support three phase
    applications. All
  • LuxWiz Energy Savers support 3 active saving
    levels - 2 energy
  • saving levels and a full power-no saving level.
    The 2 active energy
  • MODES OF OPERATION
  • LuxWiz Energy Savers support 3 modes of
operation for a wide scope of applications
  • Basic Operation Mode This is the simplest plug
and play operation mode which upon power up
automatically goes to a energy saving level after
    the warm up period.
  • Direct Control Operation Mode All LuxWiz
Energy Savers provide a simple voltage-free
contact interface which can be connected to a
variety of devices or sensors for direct control
    of its active saving levels.
  • Delay Timer Operation Mode This is an automatic
time delayed active saving level switching mode
of operation - active saving level 1 (before
time delay) and active saving level 2 (after
time delay). The time delay and pre-programmed
switching pattern among any 2 active saving
    levels can be selected.

  • BENEFITS FACTS
  • Works with T8 and T12 lamps of all wattages
    operating on rapid/instant - start ( electro-)
    magnetic or passive electronic ballasts.
  • Return on Investment in typically 1.0 to 2.0
    years.
  • Prolong ballast life. (See Slide 10)
  • Reduce HVAC Energy Costs. Studies by ASHRAE put
air - conditioning energy savings at 1/3 that of
the lighting power as a rule of thumb estimation.
  • Easy Installation without Ballast or Lamp
    changes. Installation will not interrupt
    business.
  • Reduced Carbon Footprint.
  • Possibility of getting Energy Conservation
    Rebates
  • UL and CSA Listed
  • Operable within ANS Standards and hence
    manufacturers lamp warranties.
  • High Reliability and Quality with Failsafe
feature endures years of trouble free operations.
  • No Effect on Power Quality.
  • Lower Peak Demand Charges by Shedding Lighting
    Load.
  • Clients Abroad ( Europe )
  • GM Power Train Factory ( Hungary)
  • Suzuki
  • Bayer PLC
  • Kraft Foods
  • Knauf Cwmbran Plant
  • UK MOD

LuxWiz TECHNICAL
INFORMATION and SPECIFICATIONS

For lighting systems using 3 phase 480/277Y VAC,
60 Hz electrical service, 3(or more) units of
suitable LuxWiz single phase equipments can be
used. Specifications are subjected to change
without notice.

  • INSTALLATION
  • LuxWiz Energy Savers are installed between the
safety switch and the circuit panel. The
installation process is quick and the only
interuption to the business day is when making
    the final connection(approximately 5 minutes).
  • From left to right in the photograph your will
    find the following
  • Safety Switch
  • LuxWiz 100 Amp - 277Volt FL Unit
  • LuxWiz 100 Amp - 277Volt HID Unit
  • 480/277 Circuit Panel
