The ideal anatomy of each dental structure is described in detail and the waxing techniques are beautifully illustrated step by step for visual reference. The author demonstrates that for every morphologic feature there is an explanation in nature, assigning significance to every minute feature of dental morphology. Organized by tooth and arch, this book views morphology through a clinical lens and repeatedly draws connections between anatomical features and clinical concepts. The fundamental knowledge presented in this text is essential for improving waxing and sculpting techniques and wi

The book is targeted for mouse researchers and veterinarian and human pathologists, and presents a complete, integrative description of normal mouse morphology. Disease animal models are fundamental in research to improve human health. The success of using genetically engineered mice to evaluate molecular disease hypotheses has encouraged the development of massive global projects, making the mouse the most used animal disease model. Laboratory mouse populations are straining the housing capacity of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as public research institutions. However, the scie

This study investigated callosal morphological alterations in schizophrenia using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Schizophrenic patients (n = 25) and normal controls (n = 28) were compared. Parametric surface modeling accurately represented callosal surfaces. Results revealed the vertical movement of the corpus callosum, thicker superior and inferior surfaces, and larger anterior and posterior regions in male patients. Special thanks were given to Dr. Tonmoy Sharma and his team for providing all the data. This study couldn’t have continued without it. Further research is needed to understand the underlying mechanisms, diagnostic and treatment implications, and potential therapeutic strategies related to structural abnormalities in the corpus callosum of male schizophrenic patients found in this study using MRI.
