Perfume River (Huong Giang) is a local river that crosses the heart of Hue city. Perfume River is like a gorgeous fairy hair, a symbol of Hue imperial city. It takes an important part of Fengshui in the architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The Perfume River is the inspiration for a lot of artists and musicians to compose. Moreover, It is the soul of Hue and the locals. Nearly 30 km long, the origin of its name "Perfume River” is mainly because flowers (Acorus calamus) from upstream orchards dropping into the water during the autumn has created a strong floral sense for the river. It is a must-do to take a dragon boat along the Perfume River to enjoy the fresh air as well as the breathtaking views of nature on both sides of the romantic River.

The Cathedral of Siena (Italian: Duomo di Siena), dedicated from its earliest days as a Roman Catholic Marian church and now to Santa Maria Assunta (Most Holy Mary of Assumption), is a medieval church in Siena, central Italy. The cathedral itself was originally designed and completed between 1215 and 1263 on the site of an earlier structure. It has the form of a Latin cross with a slightly projecting transept, a dome and a bell tower. The dome rises from a hexagonal base with supporting columns. The lantern atop the dome was added by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. The nave is separated from the two aisles by semicircular arches. The exterior and interior are constructed of white and greenish-black marble in alternating stripes, with addition of red marble on the façade. Black and white are the symbolic colors of Siena, etiologically linked to black and white horses of the legendary city's founders, Senius and Aschius.

Chichen Itza is a well-known Archaeological Site and more after being selected one of the New 7 Wonders of the World in July the 7th, 2007, one of the most visited archeological sites in Mexico. Chichén Itzá was one of the largest Maya cities and it was likely to have been one of the mythical great cities, or Tollans, referred to in later Mesoamerican literature. The city may have had the most diverse population in the Maya world, a factor that could have contributed to the variety of architectural styles at the site.

Uxmal is an ancient Maya city of the classical period located in present-day Mexico. It is considered one of the most important archaeological sites of Maya culture. It is located in the Puuc region of the western Yucatán Peninsula. It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of its significance. Kabah is south of Uxmal, connected to that site by an 18 kilometres long raised causeway 5 metres wide with monumental arches at each end. The most majestic of Oaxaca’s ancient ruins, Monte Alban, meaning “White Mountain,” is an ancient Zapotec capital and archaeological site with a spectacular mountain top location overlooking the valleys of Oaxaca. Monte Alban sits just a few kilometers west of Oaxaca City. Monte Alban received the UNESCO World Heritage Site designation in 1987. The site is situated an impressive 400 m (1300 feet) above the floor of the Oaxaca valley.

Visiting Mexico. Although the political capital of Chiapas was moved to Tuxtla at the end of the 19th century, San Cristóbal is considered to be the “cultural capital” of the state. Designated a “Pueblo Mágico” (Magical Village) in 2003, it was further recognized as “The most magical of the Pueblos Mágicos” by President Felipe Calderón in 2010. Much of this culture is associated with the city’s and municipality’s large indigenous population, which is mostly made up of Tzotzils and Tzeltals. One aspect of traditional culture associated with these indigenous groups is the making of textiles, especially weaving, with amber another important product. Ceramics, wrought iron and filigree jewelry can be found as well.

Ngo Mon Gate, (the main entrance), Thai Hoa Palace (The Throne Palace, or Palace of the Supreme Harmony was the building for great court's meetings) Located in front of the Throne Palace and facing the Flag Tower, Noon Gate is the main entrance to the Imperial City. Noon Gate is a huge construction, U-shaped and consisting of two parts: below is a foundation made of brick, Thanh and Quang stone, above is a pavilion made of wood and roofed with tiles. The longest and widest sides of this 5.2m high foundation are 50m and 27m, respectively. Ascent to the top can be made by two open stone staircases on both sides. There are five entrances, the main one being Noon Gate, paved with Thanh stone, and with red-lacquered doors reserved for the emperor.

The Tu Duc Royal Tomb in Hue, Vietnam is one of several Royal Tombs in the outskirts of the former Imperial Capital. Was built between 1864 and 1867, and was designed as a tribute to the fourth Nguyen Emperor’s long and somewhat sad life. Tu Duc struggled with rebellion, French encroachment, and court intrigues for thirty-odd years (Tu Duc is the longest-reigning Nguyen Emperor on record). Towards the end of his life, the emperor retreated into his tomb, creating a fantasy-land where he could compose poetry, hunt, and console himself through his concubines. No other Royal Tomb in Hue can compare to Tu Duc’s in the department of size and luxuriousness. One of the largest hardwoods in the eastern United States, the yellow poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) is more commonly known as the tulip tree (not actually related to true poplars, but is rather a member of the magnolia family) At the entrance to Aninoasa, in Hunedoara County, grows a yellow poplar specimen, referred to by locals, as the "Jules Verne's Tree". It had been planted in the castle garden (which no longer exists), built by Baron Maderspach and his wife, Anne Margarette. She was a Botanist and had a flair for aesthetics. She decided to bring the tree from Paris, to the Castle’s Arboretum, a real dendrological park which was cared for at the time, by gardeners brought from far-away Angentina. She had been corresponding by letter, for a long time, with Jules Verne and legend has it that he wrote the "Castle in the Carpathians" inspired by the places and landscapes described by Anne-Margarette in her letters
