- So is Ruqyah something new or alien to us? The
latest trend to hit our shores? No, quite the
opposite. Its really going back to our roots,
going back to the way things were done in the
time of our Nabi. - So what exactly is Ruqyah? Ruqyah means reciting
Quran and supplications (Duas) reported from the
Messenger of Allah r over someone as a means of
protection, or over the sick as a means of being
cured. It is an excellent means of cure. Nabi
used to recite over the sick and so did the
Sahaabah, may Allah be pleased with them.

more powerful will the ruqya effect be , with the

have experienced accepted prayers and obtained
