COTP / CG Objectives
- Coordinate w/ industry to ensure port is secured
to the maximum extent possible prior to landfall. - Search and Rescue CG post-storm priority
- Coordinate w/ ACOE, NOAA, and industry for
post-storm channel surveys to open waterway as
soon as possible. - Maintain situational awareness of the MTS.
- Ensure post-storm port security presence is in
place as soon as possible. - Coordinate w/ federal, state, local and industry
partners to conduct salvage and environmental
clean up operations.
