COTP / CG Objectives
  • Coordinate w/ industry to ensure port is secured
    to the maximum extent possible prior to landfall.
  • Search and Rescue CG post-storm priority
  • Coordinate w/ ACOE, NOAA, and industry for
    post-storm channel surveys to open waterway as
    soon as possible.
  • Maintain situational awareness of the MTS.
  • Ensure post-storm port security presence is in
    place as soon as possible.
  • Coordinate w/ federal, state, local and industry
    partners to conduct salvage and environmental
    clean up operations.
