2
Daniel Hengist
  • Daniel Hengist is an undergraduate student in
English. He is studying poetry. He is not
comfortable with computers and likes to read
instructions for the tools he uses. He is writing
an analytical paper on William Blakes poem, The
Tyger. He has never used text analysis, or Text
    Seeker, before.

3
  • Daniel arrives at Tzeeker and clicks What Can I
    Do With This?

4
  • giving him an explanation of text analysis
which helps him understand what the tool might be
    capable of.

5
  • Daniel decides to experiment with Tzeeker by
pasting the text to Blake's "The Tyger" into the
search box and pressing the "Tzeek It" button.

6
  • The results page displays a number of different
Tzeeker Panels a List of Terms used in the poem
sorted by frequency, a number of Common Themes
that occurred in the text, and a Key Word
    Tracking device.

7
  • Daniel reads the introduction panel, but doesn't
really understand the results in the Tzeeker
Panels so he clicks on the "Explain" button for
each panel to understand what the results mean.

8
  • Daniel decides he wants to find out more
information on the Common Themes of the poem and
clicks the More button below the previewed
explanation. The panel then expands and pushes
    the others down.

9
  • He finds an extensive list of Common Themes with
example lines of poetry from the text which is
    useful to him.

10
  • He bookmarks Tzeeker for reference

11
and prints the Common Themes as a report to use
when he starts writing his paper.
