Working Group Objectives
  • To provide an on-going forum for DoD and the
    commercial satellite communications (SATCOM)
    industry to discuss potential improvements to
    policies, programs and processes for enhanced
    mission assurance of SATCOM services used in
    support of the Department of Defense and U.S.
    national security interests.

  • Problem DoD Conjunction mitigation procedures
    did not include interfaces to industry
  • Lack of ability to contact non-DoD spacecraft
    operators
