9th June National PTA Fundraising Day
Woodlesford will be taking part in this by
holding a fundrasing trail and would appreciate
if you could send your child to school with 50p
(either a 50p piece or mixed coins is fine) on
Tuesday 9th June. The children will take it in
turn to add their coins to a wonderful picture
which is being created within school grounds -
Mrs Golden has very kindly offered to help. All
the coins will be collected at the end of the day
and will go towards school funds. Lookout for
the result in the July edition of the Rothwell
Record.
Summer Fair Saturday 14th July
AMERICAN THEME SO BRING YOUR COWBOY HATS! As
always the summer fair requires a lot of help in
order to make it a success and a hugely enjoyable
day for the kids. Please complete the form below
if you are able to offer help in any way. Just
an hour of your time will do we really are
desperate for help this year- anything that you
can do will be greatly appreciated.

Competition Time.
For all you budding artists out there - its
competition time. We need a front cover design
for our summer fair programme. ENTRIES NEEDED
BY 1ST JUNE. Please draw your design on A4 plain
white paper (preferably portrait way up) make
them as colourful as possible and try to think
about what you like best at Woodlesford Summer
Fair. A little hint for you its an American
themed fair this year!
PLEASE PLACE YOUR ENTRIES IN THE BOX AT THE
SCHOOL OFFICE. THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE A GREAT
PRIZE AND HAVE THEIR PICTURE PRINTED ON THE FRONT
COVER OF THE SUMMER FAIR 2009 PROGRAMME.!
Woodlesfords Got Talent (Children only)
Back by popular demand! Do you have a talent that
you would like to perform at the summer fair on
Saturday 4th July 2009? Then simply fill in the
form below and return it to the school office for
the attention of Woodlesford PTA (before 1st June
please). All entries will be asked to audition
with Mr Stoneham during June and the best from
each year group will be asked to perform at the
summer fair. Performances must be less than 5
minutes long! So come on kids show us what
youve got.
