• Approximately 20 graduate students

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop job descriptions for and hire 2 (of 3)
  new office staff
• Coordinate and lead departmental retreat (August
  2004)
• Conduct annual reviews for all faculty, A/Ps and
  Research Associates
• Develop closer coordination with sister
  institution (primarily academic considerations)

• Develop departmental benchmarks
• Develop and coordinate university mandated
  assessment of teaching program
• Revamp graduate student assessment criteria
• Budget for reductions in operational funding
• College Scholarship Committee
