- For a campus rated AU for two consecutive school
years, the commissioner shall order the
reconstitution of the campus and assign a CIT. - In addition to other requirements, the CIT shall
decide which educators may be retained at the
campus. - Provision for removal of principal added to
statute, but commissioner may allow principal to
remain in 2006-2007. - Commissioner may appoint a monitor, conservator,
management team, or board of managers to the
district to ensure implementation of the school
improvement plan. - Commissioner may require the acquisition of
professional services under TEC 39.1331.
