17Study Tour Key Findings
- UK well developed in policy terms but finding it
difficult to put policy into practice - In US, interesting examples of institutional and
project activity, but as responses to other
policy areas, not co-ordinated by an overarching
information management strategy - The two lead sites in terms of information
management strategy - Coventry University and Glamorgan University.
- Glamorgan was only site visited which had an
approach that made a significant difference to
the operations of the university

just technology issues - Two recurring themes
- Role of Collaboration Support, particularly in
