Jose Rasco, Investment Strategist
Jose Rasco is an Investment Strategist in the
Investment Strategy Group. Mr. Rasco focuses on
long-term and thematic investing and is
responsible for researching and writing the
publication Thematic Investing. Mr. Rasco has
served the financial community for almost 20
years. At The Hoenig Group he developed a
Technology Strategy product, which advised both
investors and corporate clients and gave
investors a sense of perspective on the Internet
revolution. At H.C. Wainwright of Boston, he was
the Chief Investment Strategist for the firms
institutional and private client businesses. He
also provided consulting services to the firms
investment banking clients. While at Lehman
Brothers he served as an Economist in one of the
industrys top-ranked Economics departments for
five years. Earlier in his career he also worked
as an industry analyst covering the International
Integrated Oil stocks. His comments have appeared
in a variety of financial publications and media,
including WSJ, NY Times, NY Times magazine,
Fortune, the International Herald Tribune, CNBC,
BB radio, BBTV, and BB Spanish TV. The
Investment Strategy Group encompasses investment
strategy, sector strategy, fixed income strategy,
small cap strategy, technical market analysis
and global quantitative analysis, and services
both Merrill Lynchs institutional and individual
investors.
