UMB Health Health and Development Programme
  • In December 2005, UMB launched its newest
    research programme Health UMB.
  • The programme includes both educational and
    research activities concerning preventative and
    rehabilitative health.
  • Health UMB will develop a common academic
platform visible through both a seminar series
    and a publication series.
  • Three research programmes are included in the
initiative Food and Health Nature, Health and
Quality of Life and Health and Development.
  • The programme Health and Development is
    centered at Noragric
  • It is an interdisciplinary programme drawing upon
staff from most of UMBs departments.
  • Over time, it is expected that the programme will
also come to include many of our collaborative
    partners.
  • At present, three areas have been included
poverty and health sanitation and health and
    food safety and environmental risk.
