NUMBER OF PLANT TRIALS
  • 1. Prerequisite is that there is ED in Shop Floor
    or Plant Setting.
  • 2. Trials must resolve technological uncertainty
    associated with ED project.
  • 3. Number length of trials must be commensurate
    with needs of ED case by case determination (
    see CGD3, cases).
  • 4. Number of trials may be impacted by number of
    independent variables evaluated process
    modelling needs (CGD3).

WORKSHOP LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • 1. Identify Experimental Development (ED) in
    Shop Floor Setting or Plant Setting.
  • 2. Identify what work/plant trials can be
    claimed as part of ED project.
  • 3. Determine if the eligible plant trials
    involve EP or CP/ED.
  • 4. Determine what should be claimed for ED
    project (labour, materials, capital) using the
    proxy method.
