- Subjectprogress on materials test
- -------------------------------------
- The test on alacam and beradim proved that alacam
will be the preferred material. Beradim melted
before the pressure point of 210 degrees. Next,
we need to subject alacam to the cold and density
tests. - ACTION NEEDED Ann, could you send the
requirements to all of us? Tom, please find a
slot with the lab for the next set of tests and
let us know when to be ready. - It would be great to have materials selection
complete by the 20th so I can try to get on the
board agenda for procurement on the 30th. - Thanks!

- Tom,
- What time will the test take place? Do we need to
supply lab assistance? - Is the density test scheduled? If so, when should
we expect to deliver the samples? - Do they have a backlog for reporting results?
Could you let us know when we should expect their
report? - It would be great to have materials selection
complete by the 20th so I can try to get on the
board agenda for procurement on the 30th. - Thanks!

- E-mail in general is a very useful feedback
mechanism. Thats because e-mail turns off the
politeness gene in human beings. People are more
willing to be rude and truthful by e-mail than
they ever would be in person or over the phone.
23Robert A.M. Stern, Architect
- Even though I enjoy face to face discussions, I
find that people are more direct when
communicating by email or fax.
