- Golden Key is an International Honour Society
which recognizes and encourages academic
achievement and excellence. - Membership is by invitation only to those
students who earn this outstanding academic
distinction. - Founded in 1977 at Georgia State University in
Atlanta and has since expanded in the U.S. and
internationally. - The UC Davis Chapter was founded on June 2, 1986.
- There are 335 collegiate chapters throughout the
United States, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, South
Africa and New Zealand. - Well Known Members include Bill Clinton, Bill
Cosby, Ronald Reagan, John Grisham and Colin
Powell
