Requirements

• Makoto Yoshida gave talk at collaboration meeting
  in Frascati regarding DAQ (see http//www.lnf.infn
  .it/conference/mice05/miceprogram.html)
• I will borrow from his talk in this one
• UNIDAQ is used at KEK for KEK Sci-fi tracker
  testbeam and will be used for the Beamline
  diagnostics equipment to be built and tested at
  Glasgow
• DAQ team had discussions at Frascati Makoto
  Yoshida (KEK), Emilio Radicioni (Bari),
  Jean-Sebastien Graulich (Geneva), Alan Bross
  (Fermilab), Paul Drumm, Koji Yoshimura (KEK).
  Malcolm has also contributed to Sci-fi DAQ.

Conclusions

• DAQ group started to discuss integration
• Need to fill the documents on DAQ specification
• Description on the systems of each sub-group
• Integration, synchronization
• To build up MICE control/monitor and DAQ system,
  communication with accelerator experts is
  mandatory
• Workshop in RAL?
• Need to integrate UK people in DAQ discussions
  (beamline, controls, sci-fi tracker)
