3Present situation
- 6 PhD students in Aquatic Ecology
- 5 PhD projects are supervised by the CORPI staff
- (two supervisors are former KU PhD students,
being young but productive scientists, who meet
the Ministrys criteria for ISI publ., etc.) - One PhD project on molecular genetics of fish is
supervised by an Estonian scientist (Dr. Riho
Gross) under agreement with the Estonian
Agricultural University.

- according to the CORPI fields of research and
relevant ongoing EU projects - B) Motivation, evaluated during the interview at
the PhD Board, - C) Average mark for M.Sc. studies,
- D) Extra () for published research papers in
Ecology. - Total score A B C D

- All PhD students are involved in the EU FW6
funded projects, - PhD student reports at regular (every 6 months)
and ad hoc seminars, - Short term research visits abroad (COLAR project
money),

- 4 examinations (20 credits), work as teaching
assistants - 240 hours, - Results should be presented at scientific
