7Workshop A Competencies and standards for basic
clinical skills in 1st year
- How can we best prepare the 1st Year for their
2nd year Placement? - Agree a set of core of competencies which
incorporate basic clinical skills - Introduce 1st year earlier to the clinical
environment?
8Workshop B Developing a Career Framework for
Clinical Educators
- CEEG is the only Podiatry group of its kind in
the UK - Use of generic toolkits to introduce new clinical
educators - Develop a realistic podiatry specific clinical
educators programme - Link in with the new SOCAP board of undergraduate
education

- Is the Current system of Contacting Educators and
Tutees by Phone working? - Could Tutees be responsible for specific clinical
sites, where better relationships could be forged
