Segment Implementation Groups

• Design and develop a number of typical business
  cases. Business cases that the companies would
  like to implement
• Holding a pre-study meeting to do this is
  possible and make the first meeting with a larger
  group more productive. The cases can later be
  extended.
• Find the relevant cost-benefit information for
  these cases, so that the trading partners can
  understand their respective keys to success with
  papiNet (ROI-model).
• Get relevant and important industry players to
  participate.
• Get the participants to understand the business
  cases and how papiNet messages enable them.
• Get trading partners to team up for pilot teams.

Segment Implementation Groups

• Agree on which subset of messages are a priority
  for your segment.
• Agree on the specification of messages, that
  would form the segment standard.
• Agree on which software tools that are to be used
  for documentation
• Data mapping (ISS Tool)
• Schema Development (XML Authority, XML Spy, etc).
• Agree on other standards, like reel label
  standards, etc.
• Produce a segment Implementation Guide, that can
  be used by all companies in the segment.
• Agree on a wider implementation plan, that would
  cover 1-2 years.
