DOT appointment procedure
  • The HOD of the training centre -
  • is responsible to ensure that a DOT is appointed
  • will submit the name, CV and time allocation of
    the nominee to the Education Board including
    any justification for varying from standard
    guidelines
  • A standard application form has been developed
  • The Education Board (EB) will assess nominations
    -
  • The EB may devolve the routine assessment of
    nominees to the Chief Accreditation Officer, as a
    component of the accreditation process
  • If a nominee does not fit the standard
    guidelines, these cases will be presented to the
    EB and assessed on a case-by-case basis
