Advisory Committee Recommendation (2/9/05)
To direct appropriate staff to work with Kansas
State University and the Risk Management Agency
to review and update the recommended planting
dates for all Kansas crops to better reflect
current varieties and producer practices and to
allow for adequate and consistent tolerances for
weather delays. Specifically, we very strongly
support spring planting dates be moved earlier
and later and fall planting dates be moved later.

9FINAL PLANTING DATE
- The date contained in the Special Provisions for
the insured crop by which the crop must initially
be planted in order to be insured for the full
production guarantee or amount of insurance per
acre.

PLANTED - DETERMINE LAST DATE PRODUCER CAN PLANT AND EXPECT
