Founding Concept

• NATO Panel 7 Report, by Dr Phil ONeill,
  suggested that PMBOK could be applied to the
  management of Military Readiness in NATO partner
  countries.
• Army Risk Assessment Model (ARAM) and Planning
  Operations Logistics and Readiness Information
  System (POLARIS) proved the concept
• Combat Development Management System (CDMS)
  proved that integrated Requirements and Project
  Management could manage the introduction of new
  capabilities
• Army Managed Readiness Information System and the
  Army IME are now in Final Definition Stages
