KT Corp., announced yesterday it has selected LG
Electronics as its equipment supplier for the
next-generation mobile telephony trial service
for World Cup 2002, which is based on wideband
code division multiple access (WCDMA) technology.
LG was picked among the four bidders -
Samsung Electronics, a consortium between Nortel
