Relationship Of God To Church

• Not a physical structure.
• In Acts 1724 Paul doesnt say God doesnt dwell
  in any temple. He says that He doesnt dwell in
  temples made with hands.
• Christians make up the temple (1 Cor. 316).
• Christians also make up the church (1 Cor. 12).
• Conditions
• Keeping His commandments (1 Jn. 324).
• Being living stones (1 Peter 25).

• It is God with us, that it may be God in us (Jn.
  1723).
• God stooped to the level of man in order that we
  might become partakers of the divine nature (2
  Peter 14).
• He came that we might become sons of God (Jn.

• When we become born of God we enter into a new
  relationship (2 Cor. 517).
• Heirs of the promises (Rom. 814-19).

• God is spirit (Jn. 424).
• He is the Father of spirits (Heb. 129).
• In knowledge, in righteousness, and true holiness
  (Col. 310 Eph. 424).
• That which is born of the Spirit is spirit (Jn.
  36).

• God is light (1 Jn. 15).
• We are made children of light (Eph. 58).
• We are to turn from darkness wherein God has no

• Those who are in the light are those who are
