Ag Technologies for the 21st Century
Sometimes called farming by the square foot,
precision agriculture allows precise measurement
of crop and soil variability. Once variability
is understood, precise application of crop inputs
is used to achieve more uniform crops and higher
yields.

Course Description Survey of current geo-spatial
technologies (GIS and GPS) and their application
to agriculture. Theory and application of
precision agriculture technologies such as remote
sensing, parallel swathing, yield monitoring,
precision navigation, and variable rate
application to California crops.
