Title: Measurement and Controls Sytems
1Measurement and Controls Sytems
Measurement and Control Systems Boeing Canoga Park
The Measurement Control Systems (MCS) Process
at Boeing, Canoga Park, is a member of the Test
Process within Engineering. We have provided
integrated instrumentation/measurement and
controls systems to all test programs conducted
at Santa Susana Field Laboratory, as well as to
other areas such as the Canoga and DeSoto
facilities, John C. Stennis Space Center,
Marshall Space Flight Center, Air Force Research
Laboratory, Edwards AFB, and the Redstone
Technical Test Center. We specialize in the
integration, design, fabrication, implementation,
testing, calibration, maintenance, and failure
analysis of instrumentation, data acquisition and
control systems and components. The MCS Process
consists of a multi-disciplined engineering staff
and a fully equipped and staffed MCS integration
and calibration laboratory.
2- DATA ACQUISITION CONTROL SYSTEMS
- Supports a wide variety of Measurement and
Control Systems to meet virtually any test
requirement. Digital High Frequency Data
Acquisition Systems typically record data with
frequency components up to 40KHz. Low Speed Data
Acquisition Systems handle data rates up to
1KHz. Extensive experience in using LabVIEW for
data acquisition and control applications.
Extensive controls experience in the application
of Programmable Logic Controllers and Devices
(PLC PLD) for test. Experienced in the
application and use of signal conditioning
equipment including amplifiers, filters and
bridge completion networks. Capable of designing
custom circuits for unique applications. - Some of our most significant accomplishments have
been made in the area of integrated data
acquisition and control systems. We have utilized
the latest PC and local area network (LAN)
technology to create a data acquisition operating
system environment (DDAS) and a high speed
control environment (TCON) that are widely used
at Boeing and customer facilities for high speed
automated control of test operations.
DDACS (Distributed Data Acquisition Control
System) Features/Capabilities
